This weekend & classes are filling up fast!
The City of Mill Creek and Snohomish Conservation District will host two workshops this Saturday, April, 12th at the Lively Environmental Learning Center. The first workshop, Sustainable Landscaping Certification, runs from 11am-12pm, and is free! Attend this one-hour class to learn about the City of Mill Creek’s new Sustainable Landscaping Certificate program where you can receive a free, on-site consultation that will guide you through sustainable practices and recognize your efforts with a beautiful award to display in your garden. The second workshop, Build Your Own Rain-Barrel, will be held from 11-1p.m. and costs $25. At this hands-on workshop, you will be guided through simple steps to assemble a rain-barrel that you can take home.
